COVID-19 Update: A Letter from Jim Wicker, President & CEO of J.W. Logistics
We recognize the trust you place in us when we deliver to your doorstep, shipping dock or place of business. That’s why I want to share an update on the actions we are taking at J.W. Logistics to keep you and our team members safe amidst the COVID-19 outbreak.
We understand and appreciate the critical role we play in the U.S. supply chain, as well as with your business. We have implemented our contingency plans designed to help us continue to operate and limit any impact to your business – all while keeping safety as our top priority.
The World Health Organization has identified that it is safe to handle packages, even if it comes from a place where the virus has been reported. Please see this link link for more information.
We are updating our team members regularly with facts about COVID-19 and reminding them to follow simple, but effective steps to keep them and you safe, such as frequent handwashing. We are disinfecting our facilities and equipment as recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Our team members are watching closely for any signs of illness and are aware they need to seek medical attention as needed and not come to work, in order to prevent the spread of the virus.
Safety is a cornerstone commitment of our organization, and your safety – and that of our team – is our top priority at J.W. Logistics. With new restrictions and limitations coming out daily to help contain the spread of the virus, we will continue to communicate how we’re responding to this very fluid situation.
Thank you for putting your trust in us. We are committed to serving and supporting you.
